Esthetician Consultation

This consultation session provides advice for the daily skin care routine, emphasizing aspects of healthy skin maintenance, prevention and correction of aging and sun damage. We introduce our patients to professional, cutting edge skin care products as part of a multi-factorial approach to enhance skin appearance and texture. You will also have the opportunity to be educated on each procedure offered in our office.

Esthetic Procedures

Do you have stubborn blackheads and milia that just won’t go away no matter what you do? If so, you could be a perfect candidate for Acne Surgery. During this procedure the skin is exfoliated and steamed prior to the extraction. There may be a few days of mild redness at lesion locations.

This 417 nm light device can improve inflammatory acne with repeated, safe therapeutic sessions. We also utilize this amazing light source to activate the Levulan topical solution for treatment of actinic keratoses, recalcitrant acne, hidradenitis and rejuvenation of aging and sun-damaged skin. Your provider will discuss the prep and post-procedure expectations for this new and effective therapy.

Photodynamic therapy with Levulan Kerastick topical solution and IPL

This popular “photorejuvenation” technique decreases the number of required sessions for a predictably dramatic improvement in removing brown spots. Peeling and redness for 5-10 days is expected.

Intense Pulse Light (IPL) Therapy

The LimeLight Facial is a non-invasive approach to skin rejuvenation using Cutera’s LimeLight. The procedure offers the advantage of improving skin tone and surface imperfections associated with aging and photodamage. This treatment is ideal for any part of your face, neck and decollete with skin redness, telangiectasia (small blood vessels) or brown spots.

A lash lift is a chemical process used to change the structure and texture of the natural lashes. There are three different levels of a lash lift that allow that lashes to be lifted more or less. The lift level will be chosen based on the length and condition of your own natural lashes. This process uses cream base solution for optimal safety. A black or brown cream based tint can be applied to achieve darker lashes.  The lash lift typically last around 6 to 8 weeks.

Deep exfoliation with crystal or crystal-free technique. This is a safe and natural way to evenly exfoliate the skin. This treatment decreases the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and age/sun spots. It improves acne and acne-related scarring and leaves the appearance of a more even skin tone and texture. You can immediately return to daily activities.

This injection therapy is indicated for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines (expression lines) between the eyebrows, Crow’s feet, and horizontal forehead lines. Best results require maintenance therapy at 4 month intervals. Patients will note mild injection site redness for a few hours and occasional injection site bruising. You will see maximum results two weeks after your Botox injections.

Facial telangiectasia, fine leg veins, cherry angiomas and port wine stains

The CoolGlide laser is a Nd-Yag laser with contact cooling. It coagulates small blood vessels which are then reabsorbed without scar.  You can expect minimal, if any, downtime. Best results achieved with 1-2 sessions.
